Grievance Form

Membership Application

The only way to receive true Teamster Power, is to become a dues-paying member of Teamsters Local 79. Joining Local 79 will give you the strong voice you need on the job. Click here to fill out a MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION.

NOTE: If you are employed by one of the following public employers, you are required to complete a PERC (Public Employees Relations Commission) application. Click on the name of your employer to complete the applicable application:

Organizing Fee

Stewards and members are on the front lines every day working hard to represent Local 79. You also work to grow our Local by signing up new members. Here is the ORGANIZING FEE FORM for stewards and members to fill out when they sign up a new member so that they are rewarded for helping to build power at Local 79.

Withdrawal Request

If you leave employment for any reason, or will be out of work for an extended period of time, you can request a membership withdrawal to keep from falling behind in your dues. All membership withdrawal requests are subject to approval of the Teamsters Local 79 Executive Board. Further, it is the members' obligation to notify the local union upon returning to work.
